Intercooling the modified engine will help it recapture power lost to the higher intake air temperature caused by higher boost pressure. This is an important upgrade for use when towing with our Max-E-Tork computer upgrade and Turbo-Master boost controller. Intercooling is not so important on "stock" engines as the boost pressure and consequent intake air temperature are lower.
