Fuel injectors have typically lost the ability to provide a proper injection spray pattern when they have accumulated approximately 70-80,000 miles and at lower mileage when they have been "babied" with short, light duty drives. They last longer and work better in engines that are routinely run hard. When injectors are worn, they do not shut off cleanly at the end of the injection cycle which results in piston overheat and failure - don't chance ruining your engine to save money in this area. Our injector sets include a high quality injector installation kit with Viton return tubes and copper injector seals. When they are availble, we loan the special injector changing socket to assist your efforts - be sure to ask.
