Intermittent misfire is sometimes caused by failure of the Electronic Filter Harness which plugs into the top-rear of the DS-4 inj pump. The harness is about 9" long with male and femaile connectors and features a black rubber block located at mid section. These can be checked with an ohm meter, but this check cannot accurately replicate heat-related issues. When the filter is suspect, we suggest replacing it.
