The Max-E-Tork e-prom, Turbo-Master boost controller and PMD Isolator system are designed to work together to revitalize your 6.5. The unique Max-E-Tork program features re-engineered fuel delivery and start of injection timing curves for improved diesel combustion efficiency, maximum power and peak fuel economy. You will enjoy vastly improved throttle responce, spirited mid-range performance and strong heavy to full throttle towing power. Automatic transmission applications also benefit by the shift upgrade program built into the Max-E-Tork. The Turbo-Master boost controller is a very important part of this combo. It provides the boost pressure curve most appropriate to the unique fueling and timing curves employed in the Max-E-Tork eprom. The PMD Isolator portion of this combo is critically important to achieving reliable performance. Our PMD Isolator system is designed to mount the PMD completely outside the engine compartment to assure maximum engine performance along with exceptional reliability. The 4-digit letter code we need in order to do your Max-E-Tork eprom, can be found on the computer behind the glove box. On 94 trucks and Subs, you gain access by removing the 4 screws that hold the glove box liner in place. Behind the glove box you will find the computer box. There is a white paper label on the computer box. On it you should find the 4-digit letter code (starts with the letter B). If the label does not feature the 4-letter code, you can find the code on the original eprom inside the computer box. Remove the computer box from its mount tray by sliding it to the rear to disengage the locating pins and spring clips. Then weasle the box out into the open area of the glove box openning and rotate it upside down. On the bottom of the computer is an inspection plate held in place by a single #15 torx screw. Remove the screw and plate. You will see the original eprom inside. On it you will find the 4-letter code. 1995 trucks and Subs feature a revised dash panel. Access to the computer box is gained by removing the glove box assembly. To remove the glove box, release the cable stop located on the drivers side of the box and then push in on both sides of the box, similtaneously to release the two bump stops which prevent the box from openning beyond the normal open position. Then swing the box assembly further open until it is released from the hinges at its bottom. The box assembly can then be completely removed to gain access to the computer box. The ID code is located on the outside of the box and on the eprom inside under the inspection plate.
