Assures solid torque converter lock-up clutch operation for reduced heat and longer towing life. We consider this to be a must for any hard working GM 4L80E or 4L60E. Does not alter factory programming for upshift/downshift or torque converter lock / unlock points. Important upgrade for towing heavy. NOTE: Max-E-Tork programming in either the eprom for 94-95 or ECM for 96-newer features a similar transmission shift upgrade. This transmission controller may not be needed in your application when running the Max-E-Tork program. Feel free to contact us for advise on this.
