The factory fan drive on your 6.2 was not cleaverly engineered. It would allow water temps to get way too high on a hard pull. The Severe-Duty is designed to begin pulling the fan in at 196-197° water temp and is fully engaged by 202° to maintain coolant temps when towing uphill. At the price we offer it, there is no good reason to start your summer without a Severe-Duty Hayden!
